The Ashes of Creation user interface is built with customization in mind.

Control settings

• Players will be able to customize their control scheme.
• Controller support has not been determined.

Camera settings

The developers aim to provide a variety of camera options. No specific details are confirmed.

Addons

Addons will not be allowed, in general.

• Addons may become a necessary tool for players to have.
• The developers believe that parsers (DPS meters) can have negative effects.

In-game chat

• In-game text chat will include Trade, Area, Party, Raid, Guild and Social organization channels.
• In-game voice chat is for Party, Raid and maybe also Guild communications.
  • It's not proximity based.
  • Has fully functional mute/chat preferences.

Importing images

No image import functionality is planned for sails, shields and cloaks.

• Emblems and symbols will be able to be designed in-game.
