Alpha-0 is a NDA release of Ashes of Creation.[3]

  • 800 to participate in the Alpha-0.

The alpha-0 map will be divided into three Узлы, each with a ZOI.[3]

Alpha-0 river that runs through the center of the map.[5]
Alpha-0 flood plains environment.[6]
Alpha-0 forest environment.[7]

There are four climates (biomes) in Alpha-0.[5]

  • Flood plains
  • Forest
  • Desert
  • Snowy mountains

Classes, races and genders

There won't be an active character creation screen, but there will be several options for players to choose from.[3]

Players will experience some degree of progression.[3]

  • Leveling will be from level 1 to around level 10.
  • New equipment will drop.
  • There will be a tier-based skill progression where players can apply points into individual skills.

There will be some gathering and crafting.[3]

There will be three open-world dungeons.[3]

Alpha Two is coming in Q3 2024! We have not announced specific dates or testing schedules for Alpha Two, Beta One, or Beta Two yet.[10]

The Ashes of Creation release schedule is subject to change.[11]

Spot testing has begun, some limited NDA'd testers are participating in spot tests and December will see more, including some major headless client testing. Also those of you that still have the A1 launcher may see an update in the next couple weeks.[12] – Steven Sharif
